Sam Rivoli, D.D.S., OrthodontistFounder of Rivoli & Rivoli Orthodontics practice, Dr. Sam Rivoli is a lifelong resident of Rochester. While attending grammar school and high school, he worked at his father's Irondequoit grocery story to help support his higher education in becoming a dental professional. Upon graduation from Dental School, he purchased an established dental practice in the town of Spencerport. The Rivoli Orthodontics practice is now one of the largest, top ranking, and master service provider of Invisalign®, which is the latest technology in straightening teeth without the use of traditional braces with offices located in Greece, Gates-Chili, Webster, Spencerport, and Newark, NY. Dr. Rivoli attended the University of Buffalo, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. He then graduated from the University of Buffalo Dental School with a D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Sciences) degree. He completed Orthodontic training at the Eastman Dental Center, University of Rochester. He received advanced training in Nitrous Oxide and Radiosurgery from Columbia University School of Dentistry and Temple University School of Dentistry respectively. He attended and obtained his certificate of achievement from the Peter Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies. In recognition of Dr. Rivoli's dedication and service to the dental industry, he was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award from the 7th District Dental Association. He has also served as past president of the Eastman Dental Center's Orthodontic Alumni Association, and the Apallonian Dental Study Club of Rochester. He is also a member of the 7th District Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Monroe County Dental Society. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics. An active community leader, Dr. Rivoli has held leadership positions and maintained civic responsibilities with the Lions Club and as a Spencerport School Board member for 22 years. Dr. Rivoli resides in the town of Spencerport with his high school
sweetheart, Jean of 45 years. Together, they've raised five children
and now enjoy eleven grandchildren. The family travels to the Thousand
Islands, a place Dr. Rivoli enjoyed throughout his youth, to pursue
their love of boating and the myriad of activities the region has to
offer. His is an avid outdoorsman, taking advantage of every opportunity
to golf, ski, hunt or fish. He is a licensed pilot since 1965. |
