William Dingus, D.M.D., Orthodontist
Associate of Rivoli and Rivoli Orthodontics, Dr. William Dingus has been in orthodontic practice since 1996. Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Dingus was in private practice in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Dingus brings with him a large body of experience having been a general dentist for 9 years before becoming an orthodontist.
Since joining the Rivoli Orthodontic practice, Dr. Dingus has gained valuable experience as a provider of the Invisalign Orthodontic technique. His experience in general practice and in orthodontic practice will prove invaluable in more complex combination orthodontic and prosthetic cases.
Dr. Dingus grew up in a small rural community south of Seattle. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington where he majored in Anthropology and African Studies, he moved east and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Dingus completed a 3 year commitment to the United States Public Health Service and then went into private general practice in Cleveland Ohio. While in Cleveland, he completed his Masters in Business Administration at Cleveland State University. In 1994, Dr. Dingus accepted a position in the orthodontic residency program at the University of Rochester's Eastman Dental Center. After completing his training there, he began practicing in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Dingus has been an active member of organized dentistry for over 20 years of active membership in organized dentistry. He has held a variety of positions with state and local dental societies, as well as membership in the American association of Orthodontics.
Dr. Dingus lives in Chili, where in his spare time he enjoys the company of his two sons, age six and thirteen, and one daughter age 1. He also enjoys travel, boating, skiing, and gourmet cooking. Dr. Dingus is a member of the Board of trustees of the Rochester Children's Nursery.Dr. Dingus.
